Many homeowners are not aware there are exemptions that can be applied to their property taxes to lower their bill.

When not receiving an exemption, this is can be a financial burden for a lot of homeowners and especially for the undocumented population, which believe that due to not having a valid SSN, they do not qualify.

In general, there is lack of awareness on how to qualify and apply for these property exemptions.  This is the reason GSDC is hosting this property tax exemption review workshop.
